We have three seasons
in the Caribbean. The "high season" generally corresponds to the
winter months in the United States and Europe. The "mid season"
generally corresponds to the summer months in the US and
Europe. The "low season" corresponds to the fall in the US. The
weather in the Dominican Republic is very much the same all year
round, beautiful!
Your rental rate also covers the services
of the housekeeper, caretaker, and the sereno (night watchman),
and all utilities and linens. It does not cover food, drinks, or
tours. For larger groups assistant housekeepers will be added at no
additional cost to guests.
High Season at Villa
Playamor runs November 15 through April 30
Base rate is $3475 per week for up to 10
guests. Each additional guest over 10 is $35 per person per
night.
There is a one week minimum rental for Christmas and New
Year
Mid Season at Villa
Playamor runs May 1 through August 14
Base rate is $1850 per week for up to 4
guests. Each additional guest over 4 is $35 per person per
night.
Low Season at Villa
Playamor runs August 15 through November 14
Base rate is $1410 per week for up to 4
guests. Each additional guest over 4 is $35 per person per
night
Notes: Children and
infants count as guests
Dominican tax of 13% must be added to the above
rates
A 50% deposit is required to hold a
reservation. This deposit can be paid by personal check or
MasterCard or VISA. The
balance is due 30 days prior to the rental.
Cancellation
Policy:
In the event of cancellation, we
will return 50% of the deposit or rental fee that has been paid. We
encourage guests to investigate trip cancellation and trip
interruption insurance. This is easily arranged through agencies
like www.InsureMyTrip.com
.
Gratuities: It is
customary for a $3 per person per day gratuity to be paid
to the housekeeper by the guests at the time they leave for home.
Baby sitting, or assistant for handicapped guests can be arranged at
an extra charge. |
